Hailing from the serene village of Temi in South Sikkim, Hemu has dominated the karate circuit in 2025, clinching six gold medals at top-level competitions, including the National Games in Goa, the Kohinoor Cup in Nepal, and several national championships across India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Beyond her victories in the ring, Hemu is a tireless mentor to young girls, especially those from underprivileged and remote areas. Through self-defense training programs, she empowers them to be strong, confident, and independent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
