11-Year-Old Nirmala Convent School Student Found Dead In Washroom

Siliguri, Sept 17 – In a heart-wrenching incident, an 11-year-old girl studying in Class 6 at Nirmala Convent School was found hanging in the washroom of her residence on Tuesday.

According to initial reports, the child was discovered by family members, who immediately rushed her to a nearby hospital. Tragically, despite their efforts, doctors declared her dead shortly after arrival.

Police Launch Investigation

The incident has been reported to the Bhakti Nagar Police Station, where authorities have begun a detailed inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the girl’s death. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted today to determine the exact cause of death.

Police officials confirmed that they are speaking with school authorities, friends, and other individuals connected to the case to gather more information.

“We are investigating the matter from all possible angles. The post-mortem report will help us establish the cause of death,” said a police officer from Bhakti Nagar PS.
