N.F. Railway Introduces Special Trains for Summer Season Convenience

In preparation for the upcoming summer season, the N.F. Railway is rolling out a pair of special trains to facilitate smoother journeys for passengers. These trains, departing from Mumbai and Guwahati, aim to offer a more comfortable travel experience to commuters.

One of the trains, numbered 06521, will embark on its journey from SMVT Bengaluru to Guwahati, making 11 round trips in total. The second train, numbered 01065, will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai bound for Agartala, also completing 11 trips in both directions. Stops along the route include Rangiya, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Kharagpur, Brahmapur, Rajamundry, and Katpadi Junction.

Scheduled to operate from April 16 to June 25, these special trains offer travellers an opportunity to explore popular tourist destinations during the summer season. Equipped with unreserved general and chair car coaches, they will traverse via various stations including Rangiya, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Kharagpur, Brahmapur, Rajamundry, and Katpadi Junction. Additionally, in a bid to enhance travel convenience, N.F. Railway has introduced two-minute additional stoppages for several trains such as the Dibrugarh – New Delhi Rajdhani Express, the Guwahati – Mariani Junction BG Express, and the Sealdah – Agartala Kanchanjunga Express, at selected stations. These stoppages aim to offer commuters more travel options and flexibility during their journey.
