The Urban Development department has recently introduced a plastic bottle-recycling machine in Rangpo, Sikikim marking a proactive approach to combat plastic waste pollution and promote responsible waste management practices in the region.

Neelam Pradhan, the Swachh Bharat Mission nodal officer, emphasized the significance of this initiative, highlighting its role in addressing the challenge of plastic waste accumulation. She stressed the importance of community involvement in fostering a cleaner environment.
