Drunk School Driver Hits Two Vehicles Near Fulbari Bypass

A school bus from the Fulbari was involved in an accident near the Fulbari bypass, reportedly due to the driver being under the influence of alcohol. The bus, carrying 16 passengers, including students, collided with two other vehicles, causing significant damage to both vehicles. Fortunately, no students were injured in the incident.

According to reports, the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, hitting a car and another vehicle on the bypass road. The car’s owner stated that his friend was driving at the time of the accident and is currently hospitalised due to the injuries sustained. He is now demanding compensation from the school administration to cover the repair costs.

Following the accident, the bus was taken to the NJP police station, where it remains impounded, and the driver was taken into custody by the police. Authorities are conducting an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident, including verifying the driver’s alleged intoxication and examining any potential lapses in the school’s management and safety protocols.
