Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament Set for Grand Finale with Exciting Exhibition Match

The highly anticipated Governor’s Gold Cup Football Tournament in Sikkim is set to reach its thrilling conclusion on November 24 at Paljor Stadium. The grand finale will not only feature intense competition but also an exhibition match between Chief Minister XI Sikkim and GTA XI Darjeeling, adding extra excitement to the event.

Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang expressed confidence in his team’s readiness, revealing that they have procured all necessary football gear, including boots, to ensure they are fully equipped for the match. “Our team is fully prepared, and we are looking forward to an exciting exhibition match,” said Tamang. “We warmly invite all football fans to attend and support the teams. Your presence will undoubtedly lift the spirits of the players and create a thrilling atmosphere.”

In addition to the exhibition match, the final of the tournament will feature local favorites, Gangtok Himalayan SC. The exhibition match is expected to further enhance the festive spirit surrounding the final day as Sikkim gears up for a spectacular football celebration.
