Sikkim’s Pritam Rai Wins Ultribe Pedaru 80 km Ultra Trail Run

Pritam Rai, a trail runner from Sikkim, secured first place in the Ultribe Pedaru 80 km Ultra Trail Run on December 8, 2024, completing the challenging race in 10 hours and 2 minutes. His victory, part of the Indian Trail Run Championship League, earned him 700 ITRA points and qualified him for the 2025 World Trail Run Championship.

Rai’s remarkable achievement reflects his dedication and rigorous training under renowned coach Amar Subba, founder of the Marathon Man Amar Subba Academy (AMAS), who has guided many athletes to national and international success.

The Ultribe Pedaru Trail Run, known for its demanding terrain, highlights Rai’s endurance and determination. His qualification for the 2025 World Trail Run Championship offers him a chance to compete globally, marking a new milestone in his athletic career.
